What happens after you order

You will receive Your Rite Begins Here immediately after purchase, a short digital welcome guide explaining what happens next and how your personalised work is prepared.

I will then contact you by email to ask what feels out of rhythm, whether the work concerns a relationship, a partnership, two competing parts of your life, or an imbalance within yourself, and what you hope might feel different afterwards.

You do not need to describe the situation in spiritual language. You can simply tell me where the imbalance seems to be: one person giving more, one responsibility consuming everything else, rest and action pulling against one another, or two important parts of life no longer moving well together.

Once I have the information needed to begin, I will prepare the rite within the stated processing period. Your photographs and written materials will then be delivered digitally.

When two things need to move together

Balance is often imagined as stillness.

In practice, it is usually movement.

Two people adjusting to one another. Work and rest exchanging weight. Independence making room for closeness. One responsibility becoming heavier for a while, then lighter again. A partnership changing shape without losing its centre.

The Twin Wings is a personalised Welsh rite for those moments when two important forces are not in open conflict, but are no longer moving together easily.

Its purpose is not to make everything equal.

Some periods of life are naturally uneven. One person may need more support. One task may require more time. One part of you may need to lead for a while.

The work is concerned instead with shared rhythm: whether the imbalance still feels chosen and sustainable, whether trust remains present, and what might help movement become more reciprocal again.

This work may suit you if:

  • a relationship is loving but has begun to feel uneven;
  • you and another person are struggling to find a pace that works for both of you;
  • collaboration has become strained through mismatched effort, timing, or expectations;
  • you are trying to balance closeness with independence;
  • rest and responsibility have stopped making room for one another;
  • creative or practical partnership feels out of step rather than broken;
  • you are carrying two important commitments that both need room;
  • you want harmony without pretending that harmony means avoiding difficult conversations.

This rite can be prepared for romantic relationships, friendships, family bonds, creative partnerships, or an internal balance between two parts of your own life.

Where another person is directly involved in the rite as a participant, their knowledge and consent are required.

Rhiannon, choice and the space between two people

Rhiannon stands at the centre of this working.

In the First Branch of the Mabinogi, she does not wait passively to be chosen. She comes to Pwyll and makes her own choice clear. That has already made her meaningful within this catalogue for work concerning mutual commitment and sovereignty within relationship.

The Twin Wings approaches a different part of relationship.

A bond can be freely chosen and still become uneven.

Two people may care deeply for one another while needing different amounts of space, support, time, or movement. A shared road does not erase the fact that two separate people are walking it.

The feather imagery used here is contemporary rather than an inherited emblem of Rhiannon. It draws upon the Birds of Rhiannon, whose extraordinary song appears in the Second Branch and alters the listeners’ ordinary experience of distance.

For this rite, the image of two wings becomes a way of thinking about relationship and balance: neither wing needs to become the other, but flight depends upon both being able to move.

The Working

Every Twin Wings rite is shaped around the particular imbalance you bring.

The working moves through three stages.

Each Wing
We begin by considering the two sides separately: two people, two needs, two commitments, or two parts of your life. The purpose is to recognise what each actually requires rather than assuming harmony means making them identical.

The Air Between
The rite then turns towards what passes between them: trust, communication, effort, time, expectation, support, boundaries, or another form of exchange.

This is often where imbalance becomes visible.

The Shared Rhythm
The final part considers what a more workable movement might look like. Not permanent equality, but enough reciprocity and flexibility for both sides to remain present without one continually disappearing beneath the other.

Rhiannon is honoured and invited into the work with respect.

The materials used depend upon the individual rite. Feather imagery may be included where appropriate, but the working is kept simple and shaped around the situation rather than a fixed decorative altar.

Standard — The Twin Wings

The Standard Rite is best suited when the imbalance is reasonably clear and you want focused work around restoring trust, reciprocity, or shared pace.

It includes:

  • personal consultation by email;
  • a complete personalised Rhiannon-centred rite;
  • ritual work structured through Each Wing → The Air Between → The Shared Rhythm;
  • photographs of the completed working;
  • a written account of the rite and its symbolism;
  • a personalised reflection on where the imbalance currently sits;
  • a continuing practice for noticing reciprocity and restoring rhythm without demanding perfect symmetry.

Deluxe — The Shared Wind

The Deluxe Rite is intended for situations where the imbalance has developed over time, several needs are competing, or both sides of the relationship or situation require more space.

It includes everything in Standard, plus:

  • an extended personal consultation;
  • a separate preliminary working;
  • expanded personalised ritual work;
  • a more detailed written account;
  • The Shared Wind, a personalised Companion Guide exploring reciprocity, trust, individual space, changing needs, and the difference between temporary imbalance and a pattern that has become unsustainable;
  • reflection on what each side is presently giving, receiving, protecting, and asking for;
  • a tailored practice for returning to shared rhythm after periods of strain or change;
  • one follow-up exchange after you have had time to work with the material.

Choose Deluxe when the question is not simply How do we restore balance? but What kind of balance can actually hold both of us as we are now?

Balance that can move

A healthy rhythm does not remain fixed.

People change, circumstances change, and sometimes one person carries more for a while. Sometimes closeness needs more room. Sometimes rest must come before progress, or action before ease.

The aim of The Twin Wings is not to freeze a relationship or life into perfect equilibrium.

It is to help you recognise when the movement between two sides still feels mutual, when it has become one-sided, and what might allow both to remain present without forcing either into silence.

Two wings do not beat in perfect sameness.

They move closely enough to remain in flight.

Before You Order

The Twin Wings is a personalised digital spiritual service for adults aged 18 and over. No physical item will be shipped.

Please allow 1–3 weeks once I have the information needed to begin. Your photographs and written materials will be delivered digitally.

If this rite directly concerns another person as an active participant, they must knowingly consent to the work. I will not use the rite to compel affection, loyalty, agreement, dependence, or continued relationship from someone who has not chosen those things freely.

The rite does not guarantee reconciliation, improved behaviour from another person, or the continuation of a relationship or partnership. Where a relationship involves abuse, coercion, threats, or other safety concerns, practical support and appropriate professional help should take priority.

Dau adain, un awel.
Two wings, one wind.

May each side keep its own strength, the space between them remain open, and what moves together find a rhythm that neither has to force.

Gyda dewis a chytgord,
With choice and harmony,

Elowen
