You may be approaching through an interest in prophecy, altered perception, solitude, Welsh literary tradition, or simply because Myrddin has remained in your thoughts longer than you expected. You do not need to arrive with dramatic spiritual experiences or a belief that you possess prophetic ability.

Once I have the information needed to begin, I will prepare the initiation within the stated processing period. Your photographs and written materials will then be delivered digitally.

There is a difference between wanting to see further and learning how to live with what has already been seen.

Its concern is what perception asks of the person who carries it.

Myrddin and the Life After Seeing

Welsh traditions surrounding Myrddin are varied, but a recurring image is not simply that of a prophet delivering convenient answers.

He is also associated with withdrawal from ordinary society, wilderness, memory and a changed relationship with the world around him.

That makes him especially interesting as a devotional figure.

Insight can be useful, but it can also unsettle.

Something understood clearly may require a decision we would rather postpone. An intuitive impression may remain ambiguous. Knowledge can separate us temporarily from the assumptions through which ordinary life previously made sense.

Not every insight needs to become prophecy.
Not every unusual impression needs to be acted upon.
And not everything we understand must be shared immediately.

The work of discernment does not end when something is perceived.

I prepare every Long Knowing initiation individually.

Before beginning, I will ask what has drawn you towards Myrddin, what you already know of him, whether you have approached him previously, and what you hope this threshold will mark.

The work moves through three broad stages.

Seeing
We begin with perception itself: what you notice, what you trust, what you question, and what kinds of experience have brought Myrddin into your attention.

This does not require visions or extraordinary experiences. Seeing may mean recognising a pattern, acknowledging something you have avoided, or becoming willing to look more carefully at what is already present.

The Quiet Between
The middle of the initiation creates space around what has been perceived.

Not every understanding needs immediate action. Not every question becomes clearer through continued pursuit.

This stage turns towards reflection, solitude and the ability to remain beside uncertainty without continually demanding another sign.

Carrying What Remains
The final movement returns to ordinary life.

What deserves to be remembered?
What should remain provisional?
What has genuinely changed your understanding?

And how can insight become part of a grounded life rather than something that steadily removes you from it?

Myrddin is honoured and invited throughout the initiation as the figure at the centre of the relationship being approached.

The aim is not to ask him to reveal the future on your behalf.

It is to begin or deepen a relationship with a figure whose tradition gives us somewhere to think about what happens after perception has already changed us.

Please allow 1–3 weeks once I have the information needed to begin. Your photographs and written materials will be delivered digitally after completion.

The initiation is offered for spiritual practice, reflection and personal development. It does not guarantee prophecy, visions, supernatural communication, accurate prediction or any particular spiritual experience.

Beginning this work also creates no permanent obligation to continue a devotional relationship with Myrddin.

You may find that the relationship deepens through prayer, study, landscape, reflection and careful attention to your own experiences. You may instead find that the initiation itself was the encounter you needed.
