What happens after you order

You will receive Your Rite Begins Here immediately after purchase, a short digital welcome guide explaining what happens next and how your personalised work is prepared.

I will then contact you personally by email to learn more about the family relationship or pattern you want the rite to address. Your completed rite, photographs and written materials will follow digitally within the stated preparation period.

When belonging becomes complicated

Family can be a source of affection, identity and continuity. It can also be the place where expectations become hardest to separate from obligation.

Perhaps you are always expected to keep the peace. Perhaps you are the one everyone turns to, even when you have nothing left to give. Perhaps your choices are repeatedly measured against what your family imagined for you.

The House of Dôn is a personalised rite for finding your own place within those relationships without pretending they do not matter.

The work is not about cutting people away simply because things are difficult. It is about asking what loyalty means when love, duty, expectation and individuality have become tangled together.

Before I prepare the rite, we begin with your place in the family as it exists now.

I may ask what tends to be expected of you, what happens when you do something differently, where responsibility feels fair, and where it has begun to feel assumed.

The work then turns toward three questions:

What belongs to the family?
Shared history, commitments, responsibilities and relationships that you still want to honour.

What belongs to you?
Your decisions, limits, values, privacy and the life you are responsible for tending.

What can remain connected without becoming entangled?
The part of the work concerned with keeping relationship where relationship is possible without surrendering your own place inside it.

Dôn is honoured within the rite as the figure around whom one of the great Welsh family groupings, the Plant Dôn, is remembered.

Standard — The House of Dôn

The Standard Rite is best suited when you can identify the family relationship, expectation or role that has become difficult.

It includes:

• personal consultation by email;
• a personalised rite shaped around your family circumstances;
• work centred on loyalty, responsibility, boundaries and your own place within the relationship;
• photographs of the completed working;
• a written account of the rite and its symbolism;
• a personalised reflective practice for carrying the work into ordinary family interactions.

Deluxe — The Room That Is Yours

The Deluxe Rite is intended for longer-standing or more complicated family patterns, particularly where several relationships or expectations are involved.

It includes everything in Standard, plus:

• an extended consultation;
• a separate preparatory cleansing rite;
• expanded personalised ritual work;
• a more detailed written account;
• a personalised Companion Guide exploring the roles, expectations and responsibilities surrounding your situation;
• tailored practices for difficult conversations, guilt, obligation and returning to your own position after family pressure;
• one follow-up exchange after you have had time to work with the material.

Choose Deluxe when the difficulty is not one conversation, but a pattern you have been living inside for some time.

Keeping your place

Belonging does not require complete agreement.

There may be responsibilities worth carrying and compromises worth making. There may also be expectations that belonged to an earlier version of the family, or of you.

This rite creates space to consider both without demanding that love become obedience or independence become distance.
