What happens after you order

You will receive Your Rite Begins Here immediately after purchase, a short digital welcome guide explaining what happens next and how your personalised work is prepared.

I will then contact you personally by email to understand what has happened, where you feel fairness or responsibility has broken down, and what you want the rite to help restore.

You do not need to provide evidence, private correspondence, or persuade me to take sides. I need enough context to understand the imbalance at the centre of the work: betrayal, unfair treatment, broken agreement, unequal responsibility, unresolved harm, or another situation in which things no longer feel properly measured.

Your completed rite, photographs and written materials will follow digitally within the stated preparation period.

When something has fallen out of measure

There are times when what hurts most is not simply what happened.

It is the feeling that the consequences landed unevenly.

Someone else made the choice, but you are carrying most of the aftermath.

An agreement was broken, but you are the one repairing what followed.

A wrong was done, yet there has been no acknowledgement, no proportionate response, or no sense that the situation has properly settled.

The Scales of Annwn is a personalised rite for those moments.

It is not a rite of revenge, punishment or guaranteed vindication.

Its concern is rightful measure of justice and restoring balance by looking at:

What happened?
What responsibility belongs where?
What would redress mean here?
And what might restored balance look like if another person never chooses to provide it?

You may be drawn to this work if:

• you have been treated unfairly and want to mark that wrong without becoming consumed by retaliation;
• trust, agreement or responsibility has been broken;
• you are carrying consequences that feel disproportionate to your own part;
• you want to separate justice from punishment;
• you are struggling with the gap between what happened and what has been acknowledged;
• you need to examine whether your own response remains proportionate;
• you want to pursue fairness while keeping hold of your dignity and judgement.

This rite does not require you to pretend that every conflict has equal fault on both sides.

Sometimes people do act unfairly.
Sometimes agreements are broken.
Sometimes harm is real.

The work simply refuses to make vengeance the only possible answer.

A Welsh thread of measure, consequence and redress

The rite is contemporary, but its concern with responsibility and proportion draws partly from the surviving tradition of Cyfraith Hywel, the medieval Welsh law associated with Hywel Dda.

Those lawbooks belong to a historical society very different from ours, and this rite does not recreate their procedures or treat them as a ready-made spiritual system.

What they preserve, however, is an enduring concern with questions of injury, responsibility, compensation and consequence.

Not every wrong is answered by overpowering the person who caused it.

Sometimes the more difficult question is: What response is proportionate to what happened?

That question sits at the centre of this work.

Arawn may be honoured where appropriate, drawing upon the First Branch and its concern with agreement, conduct, restraint and keeping faith. He is not treated as a Welsh god of justice, and Annwn is not presented as a supernatural court.

Rhiannon may also be honoured in rites where dignity after unfair judgement is especially relevant, not as a “Queen of Fairness,” but through the endurance, humiliation and eventual restoration found in her story.

Standard — The Scales of Annwn

The Standard Rite is best suited when one clear situation of unfairness, broken responsibility or unresolved imbalance is at the centre of the work.

It includes:

• personal consultation by email;
• a complete personalised Welsh rite centred on justice, proportion and restored balance;
• ritual work exploring what happened, what responsibility belongs where, and what restoration might mean;
• photographs of the completed working;
• a written account of the rite and its symbolism;
• a personalised reflection or continuing practice for maintaining perspective afterwards.

Deluxe — The Balance Restored

The Deluxe Rite is intended for more complicated situations where injustice, responsibility and response have become difficult to separate.

It may suit you if the situation is longstanding, involves several people or obligations, has affected your trust in your own judgement, or has left you uncertain whether you are seeking redress, vindication, punishment or simply an end to carrying it.

It includes everything in Standard, plus:

• an extended personal consultation;
• a separate preliminary cleansing and settling rite;
• expanded personalised ritual work;
• a more detailed written account;
• a personalised Companion Guide exploring justice, proportion, consequence and redress;
• deeper reflection on your own responsibilities, boundaries and desired response;
• guidance for distinguishing practical action from the need for spiritual closure;
• one follow-up exchange after you have had time to sit with the completed work.

Choose Deluxe when the question is not simply What would restore balance? but What kind of justice am I actually asking for, and what am I willing to become in pursuit of it?

Justice without becoming vengeance

Justice and revenge can sometimes feel very close when we are hurt.

Both begin with the recognition that something was wrong.

The difference lies partly in what we ask to happen next.

Redress seeks proportion while vengeance seeks pain.

There are situations in which anger is entirely understandable, consequences are appropriate, and practical action should be taken.

This rite does not ask you to become softer than the situation deserves. It asks whether your response can remain answerable to your own integrity.

You do not have to excuse what happened, you do not have to call harm a lesson, and you do not have to forgive before you are ready, or at all.

But you can ask for right measure without allowing the wrong itself to become the measure of everything that follows.

Please allow 1–3 weeks once I have the information needed to begin. Your completed photographs and written materials will be delivered digitally.

This rite does not determine guilt or innocence, reveal hidden facts, punish another person, compel an apology, influence legal proceedings or guarantee that external circumstances will become fair.

If your situation involves an active legal matter, workplace procedure, financial dispute, abuse, personal safety concern or another issue requiring practical support, spiritual work should accompany rather than replace the appropriate help.
