Scarlet Path of Rhiannon - A Rhiannon Rite for Redress, Dignity & Sovereign Response
What happens after you order
You will receive Your Rite Begins Here immediately after purchase, a short digital welcome guide explaining what happens next and how your personalised work is prepared. I will then contact you personally by email to learn what has happened, what kind of redress you are seeking, and what you want this rite to support.
You do not need to reduce the situation to a few neat sentences or know exactly what outcome would feel like justice. You may already have taken practical action. You may still be deciding what response belongs to you. Or you may simply know that something happened which should not be allowed to define the ground beneath your feet.
I will prepare the rite around your particular circumstances. Your completed photographs, written account and personal materials will then be delivered digitally within the stated preparation period.
When something wrong has been done
There are times when being hurt is complicated by the question of what should happen next.
Perhaps someone lied about you, betrayed your trust, acted unfairly, crossed a boundary, abused a position of authority, or left you carrying consequences you did not choose. Perhaps the situation has already been recognised by others. Perhaps it has not.
Anger may be part of that.
So may grief, humiliation, frustration, fear, or the exhausting wish for somebody else to finally understand what happened.
Scarlet Path of Rhiannon is not about pretending those feelings are beneath you.
It is about refusing to let retaliation become the only language available.
This rite is prepared for moments when you want the wrong acknowledged, your dignity restored, your boundaries strengthened, and your response to remain yours.
This rite may suit you if
You may be drawn to Scarlet Path of Rhiannon after betrayal, mistreatment, false accusation, unfair judgement, broken trust, manipulation, or another experience in which something feels out of balance and you want that imbalance addressed.
You may already know what practical action you intend to take and want spiritual work alongside it.
You may be waiting for a decision, apology, consequence or acknowledgement that is outside your control.
You may want protection while a difficult situation continues.
Or perhaps the most important question is what kind of person you want to remain while dealing with somebody else's actions.
This rite does not require you to forgive.
It does not require reconciliation and it does not ask you to become calm enough to make the wrongdoing comfortable for somebody else.
Its concern is with redress and sovereignty: what should be named, what should be defended, what action belongs to you, and what you refuse to let another person's choices make of you.
Rhiannon and wrongful judgement
Rhiannon's story in the First Branch of the Mabinogi gives this rite its ground.
After the disappearance of her son, the women responsible for watching him fear punishment and falsely accuse Rhiannon of killing the child. She is made to undergo a humiliating public penance, telling strangers what she is believed to have done and offering to carry them upon her back.
Eventually the truth changes the situation. Her son is returned and recognised, and Rhiannon is released from the punishment imposed upon her.
Rhiannon is wronged without surrendering her identity to what others have said about her. The accusation has consequences, but it does not become the final truth of who she is.
That is the part of her story I approach here.
Not vengeance or the promise that every wrong will be publicly corrected. But the refusal to let falsehood, mistreatment or imposed shame become sovereign over the self.
The Working
Before I prepare the rite, we begin with what happened and what you are seeking now.
That may include protection, acknowledgement, accountability, distance, restoration of reputation, stronger boundaries, courage for practical action, or simply the return of a steadier relationship with your own authority.
The working is then shaped around three things: the wrong itself, the response you choose to make, and the part of your life that must remain yours regardless of what another person does next.
Rhiannon is honoured and invited with respect.
Where appropriate, the rite may also include protective or boundary work, particularly when the situation is ongoing.
The purpose is not to command punishment.
It is to restore your position within your own ground.
Standard — Scarlet Path of Rhiannon
The Standard Rite is best suited when there is one principal wrong, conflict or situation you want the work to address.
It includes:
- personal consultation by email before preparation begins;
- a personalised Rhiannon rite shaped around your circumstances;
- an offering to Rhiannon within the working;
- ritual work centred on redress, dignity and sovereign response;
- protective or boundary work where appropriate;
- a photographic record of the completed rite;
- a written account of the working and the symbolism used;
- a personalised reflection for deciding what remains yours to do after the rite;
- a Welsh-and-English closing blessing prepared for your work.
The Standard Rite is complete in itself. It does not require you to know whether another person will ever apologise, understand or face consequences.
Deluxe — The Red Road
The Deluxe Rite is intended for more complicated situations: prolonged mistreatment, several intertwined harms, reputational damage, continuing conflict, or circumstances where practical action and spiritual work need greater space to sit alongside one another.
It includes everything in Standard, plus:
- an extended personal consultation before the rite;
- a separate preparatory cleansing and protective working;
- expanded personalisation around the history and complexity of the situation;
- a more detailed written account of the completed rite;
- an expanded Companion Guide exploring Rhiannon, wrongful judgement, dignity, boundaries and response after harm;
- a personalised Welsh-and-English prayer or invocation to Rhiannon;
- reflective work around anger, consequence and what genuine redress would mean to you;
- a practical-spiritual boundary reflection for circumstances that remain ongoing;
- one follow-up exchange after you have had time to sit with the work.
Choose Deluxe when the question is not simply “How do I stand again?” but also “How do I move through what comes next without allowing this to govern me?”
Redress is not the same as revenge
There is a difference between wanting harm to be answered and wanting another person to suffer simply because you have suffered.
The difference is not always obvious when the wound is fresh.
Sometimes redress means an apology.
Sometimes it means a complaint being upheld, a boundary enforced, a lie corrected, access withdrawn, a consequence accepted, or a situation finally named for what it was.
And sometimes none of those things are available.
Another person may never understand. An institution may fail. A relationship may end without acknowledgement. The truth may matter deeply without producing the public correction you hoped for.
That does not mean you are required to pretend nothing happened.
Nor does it mean your only remaining power is retaliation.
Rhiannon's road through accusation and restoration offers a different question:
What remains yours, even before anybody else admits what was done?
Your judgement. Your boundaries. Your next action. Your dignity.
Your right to decide what happens on your side of the threshold.
Before You Order
Scarlet Path of Rhiannon is a personalised digital spiritual service for adults aged 18 and over. No physical item will be shipped.
Please allow 1–3 weeks once I have the information needed to begin. I will contact you using the email address supplied with your order, and your photographs and written materials will be delivered digitally after the rite is complete.
This rite can accompany practical action, but it does not replace legal advice, safeguarding, formal complaints procedures, medical care, or other professional support where those are appropriate.
I will not prepare this rite to coerce another person's behaviour, cause harm, or guarantee punishment. The work may focus strongly on protection, accountability, redress and rightful consequence without becoming a revenge rite.
If the situation involves immediate danger, stalking, coercion, abuse, or another threat to your safety, practical protection should take priority.
You do not need to arrive without anger.
You only need to decide that anger will not be the only thing allowed to choose your road.
Saf yn dy wirionedd, a chadw dy dir.
Stand in your truth, and hold your ground.
May what was done be named clearly, what belongs to you remain yours, and whatever response you choose be one you can still stand beside when the heat has passed.
