Welsh folk magic does not come down to us as one neat, unbroken system.

This is the revised and substantially expanded edition of the original guide. Previously 65 pages, it has grown to 127 pages through new material, expanded chapters, deeper historical and cultural context, additional practical work, and a considerably enlarged Welsh glossary and resource section. It is not simply a reformatted version of the earlier workbook, but a fuller exploration of the path it first set out to introduce.

Throughout the guide, I distinguish between what can be traced historically, later interpretation, and the contemporary practices I offer for reflection today. The aim is not to reconstruct a lost religion, but to help you build a thoughtful relationship with Welsh folklore, landscape and folk practice while leaving room for uncertainty where the record does not give us a simple answer.
