I will then contact you personally by email to gather whatever information is needed before I begin. Your completed rite, reading, photographs and written materials will follow digitally within the stated preparation period.

Circle of Awen

There is a difference between wanting something and beginning to shape it.

Sometimes the idea is already there. The direction is known. You can see what you want to make, build, write, change or bring into being, but the movement from intention into form still feels difficult.

Circle of Awen is a personalised Welsh rite for that point.

It is not primarily for finding inspiration after a creative silence. It is for when the spark already exists and needs structure, attention and enough momentum to become something real.

The work centres on helping a chosen intention move from thought into practice without forcing the outcome into a shape that no longer fits.

Awen and the Work of Making

Awen is often spoken of as inspiration, particularly within Welsh poetic and bardic tradition.

But inspiration on its own is not enough.

A thought must be held long enough to become language. A poem must be written. A design must be made. A plan must meet the ordinary work of time, revision and attention.

Circle of Awen takes its shape from that meeting between inspiration and form.

The rite does not treat Awen as a force that simply delivers whatever is desired. Instead, it works with the movement between insight and making: the moment when something inward begins to take practical shape.

That is the centre of the rite.

The Working

I prepare each Circle of Awen rite around one clear intention.

For one person, that may be a creative project. For another, it may be a new practice, a piece of work, a course of study, a personal undertaking, or something they want to bring more fully into daily life.

The work is shaped around three questions:

What are you trying to bring into form?

What is making it difficult to move from intention into action?

What kind of structure, focus or rhythm would help the work become more real?

The rite is not designed to decide the direction for you. Nor does it replace the practical work itself.

Its purpose is to create a focused spiritual space around the act of making: gathering attention, clarifying the intention, and supporting the movement from idea into form.

Circle of Awen — Standard Rite

The Standard Rite is suited to a clear project, intention or piece of work that already has a defined direction.

Standard includes:

• a short private consultation by email;
• a personalised Circle of Awen rite;
• a photographic record of the completed working;
• a written account of the rite and its symbolism;
• a personalised practice for focus, rhythm and continued making;
• a Companion Guide exploring Awen, inspiration and the movement from idea into form.

The Standard Rite is complete in itself.

Circle of Awen — Deluxe Rite: The Shaping Hand

The Deluxe Rite is intended for larger, more demanding or more complex undertakings where the issue is not simply beginning, but sustaining enough structure for the work to continue taking shape.

Deluxe includes everything in Standard, plus:

• an extended private consultation;
• a separate preliminary clearing and preparation rite;
• an expanded personalised main working;
• a more detailed written account;
• an expanded Companion Guide;
• deeper reflection around focus, structure, revision and the difference between inspiration and completion;
• a personalised continuing practice for maintaining momentum over the following weeks;
• one follow-up message after you have had time to sit with the work.

Choose Deluxe when the intention is already clear, but the process of shaping it requires greater depth, continuity or support.

Bringing It Into Form

Ideas can remain beautiful for a very long time when nothing asks them to become specific.

Once they begin to take form, things change.

A choice has to be made.

A version has to be attempted.

Something has to be written, built, tested, revised or repeated.

That can feel less luminous than the first moment of inspiration, but it is where the work becomes real.

Circle of Awen honours that stage.

Circle of Awen is a personalised digital spiritual service for adults aged 18 and over. No physical item will be shipped.

After ordering, I will contact you using the email address provided at checkout. You can tell me what you are trying to bring into form, where the process currently feels stalled or diffuse, and anything you feel is important for me to understand before I prepare the rite.

Once I have the information needed to begin, please allow 1–3 weeks for preparation and completion. Your photographs and written materials will then be delivered digitally.

The rite is offered for spiritual practice and reflection. It does not replace professional, legal, financial, medical, psychological or other appropriate support where that is needed.
