I will then contact you personally by email to understand what has drawn you towards Arianrhod, whether you already have an existing relationship with her, and what you would like this initiation to mark.

You do not need to arrive with a fixed devotional practice or a single reason for approaching her. You may have encountered Arianrhod through the Fourth Branch of the Mabinogi, through previous spiritual work, or simply through a persistent sense that you want to know her more deliberately.

Once I have the information needed to begin, I will prepare the initiation within the stated processing period. Your photographs and written materials will then be delivered digitally.

Arianrhod is not an easy figure to reduce to one quality.

Her surviving story is shaped by testing, birth, refusal, naming, imposed conditions, deception and consequence. Her words carry authority, but that authority does not exist outside relationship. Other people's actions shape her circumstances, while her own choices shape the lives around her.

At Caer Arianrhod is a personalised initiation for those who want to begin, renew or deepen a spiritual relationship with Arianrhod while exploring the difficult ground of self-possession, authority and responsibility.

It does not ask you to become harder, more distant or more certain.

It asks how you hold your own position without pretending that relationship has no claims upon you.

This Initiation May Suit You If

You may be drawn to this initiation because Arianrhod herself has become important within your spiritual practice and you want to approach her more deliberately.

You may also be living with questions her story raises: who has the right to name, who has the right to refuse, what belongs to your own judgement, what expectations have been placed upon you, and what responsibility follows when your decisions affect someone else.

Perhaps you are learning to trust your own voice after too much deference.

Perhaps you are trying to distinguish self-possession from defensiveness.

Perhaps you are becoming more deliberate about what you will agree to, what you will decline, and what you are willing to leave unanswered.

Or perhaps you do not arrive with a problem to solve at all.

You may simply want to begin a devotional relationship with Arianrhod that allows her to remain complex.

This initiation is not primarily about changing your identity. Mirror of Arianrhod already works specifically with names, roles and the authority those identities continue to hold. 

Nor is it primarily about composure or boundary-setting. The Calm of Arianrhod works more directly with pressure, response and creating enough space to hear your own judgement before answering. 

At Caer Arianrhod is the wider threshold.

It is about entering relationship with Arianrhod herself.

Arianrhod and the Question of Authority

In the Fourth Branch of the Mabinogi, Arianrhod is tested before Math and unexpectedly gives birth.

Later, she refuses to name her son and places further conditions upon his life. Gwydion repeatedly intervenes through disguise and deception until those conditions are overcome and the child becomes known as Lleu Llaw Gyffes. 

The episode resists easy moral sorting.

Arianrhod's refusals matter and so do the circumstances surrounding them.

So do Gwydion's deceptions and the consequences that follow.

For this initiation, I am less interested in deciding who should be admired than in the questions the story leaves behind.

What belongs to your authority?
What happens when another person's expectations press against it?
When does refusal protect something necessary?
When does it become another form of control?
And how do we remain answerable for the effect our choices have without surrendering the right to choose?

Those are questions of self-possession, but also of relationship.

That is the ground of this initiation.

The Initiation

I prepare each At Caer Arianrhod initiation individually.

Before beginning, I will ask what has drawn you towards Arianrhod, what you already know of her, whether you have approached her previously, and what you hope this threshold will mark.

The work moves through three broad stages.

Approach
We begin with the relationship as it presently exists: curiosity, devotion, uncertainty, previous experience, or simply the desire to begin.

Authority
The middle of the initiation turns towards the places where your own judgement, boundaries, naming and responsibility become most important. This may involve a role you are questioning, a decision that needs to remain yours, a pattern of over-explaining, or simply the wish to become more deliberate about what you consent to carry.

Relationship
The final movement opens a point from which continued devotional practice can grow.

Arianrhod is honoured and invited with respect. An offering forms part of the initiation, and the details of the work are shaped around your circumstances rather than a fixed set of supposed correspondences.

The aim is not to decide in advance what Arianrhod must become to you.

It is to begin listening, while remaining fully present within your own judgement.

The Deluxe Initiation is intended for those who want more space to establish an ongoing devotional practice with Arianrhod, particularly where questions of authority, inherited expectation or personal judgement run through several areas of life.

It includes everything in Standard, plus:

• an extended personal consultation;
• a separate preliminary cleansing and preparation rite;
• an expanded personalised initiation;
• a more detailed written account;
• an expanded Companion Guide;
• additional personalised devotional material;
• deeper reflection around authority, relationship, consent, naming and responsibility;
• a longer framework for offerings, study and continuing practice;
• one follow-up exchange after you have had time to live with the initiation.

At Caer Arianrhod is a personalised digital spiritual initiation for adults aged 18 and over. No physical item will be shipped.

Please allow 1–3 weeks once I have the information needed to begin. Your photographs and written materials will be delivered digitally after completion.

The initiation is offered for spiritual practice, reflection and personal development. It does not guarantee supernatural communication, visions, signs, guidance or any particular spiritual outcome.

Beginning this work also creates no permanent obligation to continue a devotional relationship with Arianrhod.

You may find that the relationship deepens over time through prayer, offerings, reading and reflection. You may instead discover that the initiation itself was the threshold you needed.

Neither needs to be decided beforehand.
