Lludd does not solve them through a single overwhelming act of force. He seeks the counsel of his brother Llefelys, listens to what must be done, and deals with each disturbance according to its nature.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThat aspect of the story is central to this initiation.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe value is not simply that Lludd defeats threats. I do not need to turn that epithet into an elaborate system of magical correspondences.
