In 1837, Taliesin Williams included Mallt-y-Nos in a poem in which she hunts alongside the hounds of Annwn. She subsequently became associated with the spectral hounds in Welsh literary tradition, and by the end of the nineteenth century stories explaining her place among them were being recorded in Glamorgan. \u003cspan class=\"contents\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"\"\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOne later account remembers Mallt as a woman devoted passionately to hunting.
