Arthur intervenes and imposes an extraordinary settlement: Gwyn and Gwythyr are to fight for Creiddylad each Calan Mai—May Day—until Judgement Day, when whoever is victorious will take her.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe same tale gives Gwyn another remarkable role.
