Pwyll behaves discourteously during a hunt, driving Arawn’s hounds away from a stag they have brought down and allowing his own dogs to feed upon it.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eWhen confronted, Pwyll asks how the offence may be repaired.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe answer leads to an extraordinary exchange.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eFor a year and a day, Pwyll takes Arawn’s appearance and place in Annwn while Arawn takes his place in Dyfed. New information matters.
